Dr hab. Arkadiusz Gut (prof. UMK) Department of Cognitive Science, PhD in Philosophy and Psychology, Visiting professor in the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China and the City University of New York, USA. He is a recipient of scholarships and fellowships from the Polish Foundation for Science, the Fulbright Foundation, and the Stefan Batory Foundation. His research is focused on mindreading, thought-language relation¬ship, and cross-culture study, developmental psychology and he directs an international research project focused on involvement of language, culture-specific factors, and folk intuitions in social knowledge. His work has been published in Multilingua, Journal of Cross-Cultural and Interlanguage Communication, Brentano Studien, Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Theory and Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology and Synthese.
